One of the mindsets needed is a change from using our minds to make decisions to using our hearts. The Soul resides in the Heart, while the Ego resides in the intellect. We have been working in a system for a very long time where “making sense of things” is valued more highly than “feeling into things.”The Regenerative Economy requires that we feel. The more we are able to experience and eventually lament the repercussions of the climatic crisis and social inequities, the more likely it is that we will act in a way that seeks to refill and restore both people and the world.
As a result, in order to experience, we must move more from our heads and egos to our hearts and souls. In spiritual or religious settings, this behavior is encouraged, whereas in other settings, like business, it is not encouraged, boosted, or even discussed. Why is this so?
We started to overrate money and make money at any cost to people and the environment somewhere down the line because we started to associate wealth with money. We may hear Mother Earth’s voice and the voices of our neighbors more clearly by raising the volume on our Heart’s Voice. Their cries will motivate us to act morally and in a way that benefits the environment and our communities. This is frequently referred to as transitioning from Ego to Eco.
The Ego:
The Ego, which is anchored in “I,” is the false self, often referred to as the Shadow Self, in connection to your Soul. The Ego runs on fear and wants to keep you alive. To accomplish that, Ego must frighten you into refraining from actions like not taking part in system disruption and consuming at any costs (even taking resources from the earth and its inhabitants) in order to maintain your safety and security.

The Soul:
The Soul is the real you, also referred to as the Real Self, and is founded in “we,” in contrast to your Ego. The Soul runs on love, and its primary objective is to shine Light and carry out its destiny for everyone’s welfare. Soul needs to be cared for and valued in order to accomplish that.
